Aahwahan Foundation Honours Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign By Celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga

On 13th August to 15th August 2022, as a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav the Young Aahwahan foundation NGO which is founded by Mr. Braja Kishore Pradhan celebrated our 75th year of independence in which they distributed the flag in all government schools all over India in 10 cities.  people are requested to put the Indian flag outside their houses to take part in “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav for 3 days. In recent decades we don’t have a personal connection a relation to the flag as compared to the people who made independence possible. Bringing the flag home and not just hoisting it in a few selected places will grow patriotism in every people’s heart and spread the importance of the Indian national flag to every citizen of India.

To us Indians, Independence Day holds a very emotional and vital role in India’s history. On this day we gain independence from the British government who was ruling India from 1858 to 1947. These are the most curial 89 years India has ever seen where freedom fighters fought and did several sacrifices and normal citizens got touched by the British army. British made India a poor country that was earlier the richest province of all. They succeed in dividing the people based on religion and cast which still hold a great scare. India took more than 50 years to get up on its feet and regain its importance in the world. Now the most powerful nations like the United States of America, Russia, and all of the European Union appreciate the work India doing and growing its GDP at the rate of light speed.

The importance of the struggle for independence faded away as time passed due to globalization multiple cultures influenced the Indian population. To ignite the feeling of patriotism in the citizen of Indian Prime mister Narendra Modi on 91st Mann ki Baath made an announcement on 22 July to launch a campaign Har Ghar Tiranga from 13th Aug to 15th Aug. The government also launched a website where Indian citizen is asked to upload their self with the national flag. A certificate is also being given to the people who are registering on the website – by the government of India as a token of appreciation.

More than 2 billion flags have been distributed and more than 6 billion pictures have been uploaded to the website. Aahwahan foundation has also pledged to plant 10 trees in every government school this campaign was carried out in the city of Bihar, Bangalore, Uttar Pradesh, and Orisha. Not only was the flag being hoisted but as some people fail to respect the flag later a special law was passed Flag Code of India 2022 with all the guild lines and instructions to ensure Indian flags are treated with dignity and full on its full glory. Few schools also keep programs during these 3 days where they took 100 feet long flags and marched around the whole city. All gender, religion, cast, tribes, urban, rich, and poor joined these campaigns and after a long span of the year, India looked united again. The nation on 15th august 2022 was painted in 3 colors which were saffron ( hope ), white ( peace ), and green (unity).
